FEAST Friday's are my absolute favourite, because when the recipe drops I know it is officially weekend! Time to kick off your shoes, sit back and "Netflix & Chill"
We celebrate this FEAST Friday with a Fresh Steak wrap filled with all things good and green! It's a quick and easy dinner idea where you can use all leftovers in your fridge - no restrictions when it comes to the filling! You can use plenty of Veg and then just add a little protein (Left over Steak, Tuna, Chicken Strips, Legumes, Quinoa, etc)
We have used cabbage instead of normal Salad leaves. You may ask why?
It adds an extra crunch!
Cabbage is known to detoxify the stomach & colon
It contains lots of the good stuff: Fiber, folate, potassium, magnesium, Vitamins A & K, iron
All cruciferous vegetables are anti-inflammatory and contains plenty of anti-oxidants
It's anti-bacterial & viral, anti-cancer, anti-fungal
Cabbage stimulates your immune system (Goodbay Covid!)
Could help lower your cholesterol levels
Ingredients
4 Wholegrain wraps (Or you can try the Homemade Wrap Recipe in our FEAST Recipe guide)
250g Fillet steak, grilled and sliced in thin slices
2 Cups Chopped Cabbage, raw (Green or red)
1 Medium Avocado, mashed
4 Gherkins, sliced thinly
Method
Fill each wrap with all the ingredients
Serve immediately with a side of homemade Tzatziki (You can find a delicious recipe in our FEAST Recipe Guide ) or any other sauce of your choice
