Beautiful mess right? Who doesn't love nachos and some guacamole on the side!
I was in the mood for this for so long! We always use to make this recipe with blue Doritoz and if you want to, go for it! But this is a great alternative for gluten free people and a lower calorie option.
Trigz is an amazing brand with corn popped chips for only 110 calories per serving, which is quite a lot! You can find them at most supermarkets, Total & Engen garages, Clicks & Dis-Chem or online at Takealot. They are budget friendly and come in various flavours from fruit chutney to jalapeno!
This recipe is for 2 SERVINGS!
Ingredients:
1 big bag of Trigz choice of chips (85g)
2 tbsp fat free smooth cottage cheese
200g lean/extra lean mince
chili flakes
garlic flakes
1/2 tin of diced tomatoes
60g Mozzarella
20g Gouda
Instructions:
Preheat your oven at 200 degrees Celsius.
Cook the mince together with the chili & garlic flakes and add some salt and pepper to taste.
Get an oven bowl and throw the Trigz packet of chips in it.
Add the cooked mince over it and spread them nicely.
Add a few blobs evenly spread of the diced tomatoes.
Add the cottage cheese evenly spread as well.
Top it off with your mozzarella and then your gouda at the top.
Bake for +- 7mins and ENJOY with guacamole on the side!
