WELLNESS WEDNESDAY
Yes, I know it’s winter at this moment, but ice-cream never goes out of style!
This ice cream is packed with healthy nutrients, to keep your immune system boosted through the cold, with some cold. *wink wink*
This recipe is short and sweet… and only 400 calories for the whole tub!
All you need is:
1/3 cup vanilla protein powder (or the flavour you prefer, I used Wazoogles Vanilla Protein)
2 cups plain yogurt (I used Fabulite)
1/3 cup unsweetened milk or fresh cream if you prefer it.
¼ cup honey
1 tsp vanilla
-Mix everything together with a blender or an electrical whisk and freeze for 2 hours.
I poured the mixture into a bread pan and popped it in the freezer just like that! You can add cookie crumble of your choice for a bit of texture! Delish!
Refined sugar-free and high in protein!
EASY as PIE, I mean ICE-Cream.
